If anyone has any spare Vox invites they'd like to share let me know, I'm getting regular requests for them but don't seem to have any left: wen't from unlimited starter invited to none. If you are willing drop me an email and I can forward you the requests.
thanks

Any time I'm forced to fly Qantas within Australia always results in something bad.
Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy, I've read every single one of his books since and loved them, so it did change my life as I'm not really a big reader of fiction (I'd rather read a technical manual, biography or gudie) as I actually now occasionally read works of fiction....when Tom Clancy releases books at least :-)
People say I'm obsessed with weather...but it's not true, it's just I hate winter, I'm not a cold weather sort of person, and I certainly couldn't imagine living somewhere where it snowed either....can you imagine my complaining then :-)
Anyhow it's finally started to rain here....we have a Mediterranean climate where it's dry for 6 months of the year and rains for the other 6 months, but someone forgot to tell the weather gods this year because we've hardly had any rain, and it's been cold because of it (like -3 Celsius at night cold).
Anyhow, one exciting picture of rain, taken from my front door looking out over the estate.
Rhinestone Cowboy - Glen Campbell in 75. In 96: Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix) - Los Del Rio, at least in the States, anyone know of an Australian list?
quick note to my new Vox invites, you have to wait 1 week to be upgraded, official word from SA's Anil Dash (thanks Anil).
Interesting question of the day from Vox, What am I doing this weekend, given it's Monday here! :-)
Just looking at my invites into Vox. Timezones are fun, aren't they, you can see when ppl are online and aren't. For me it's always a little strange because most of the b5 bloggers are in North America. When I get up Jeremy is close to bed, so I know if I don't get a reply early in the morning, I've got to wait till atleast 8-9pm. Others are likewise, although Jeremy and Aaron are the exceptions as the only two I see in the morning and night, most others I see up to lunch time, then not till the next day (I'm 12 hours ahead of US EST half the year, and 13 during the northern summer).
Just a quick note to those I've invited to Vox, I've emailed Anil to get the details as to how one gets an upgrade to the "standard" vox account, since it's the most asked question I'm getting, as far as I know it happens anyway after a couple of weeks, but I'm looking forward to getting the official response from Anil, as I'd like all of you to check it out...and if Anil is reading this, the cream of the Web 2.0 community in Australia has invites from me, so the potential for great word of mouth is there :-)

Er, nevermind. Was going to wait for a reply but someone just asked for an invite and I feel bad... read more
